Gary PopeMediation and Commercial

G ary Pope is Co founder and head of the commercial department at London Corporate Legal Solicitors, based in Mayfair, London. He is also the company BDM. and an appointed panel member of “Clerksroom” Barristers and Mediators.

Gary has 9 years corporate experience with BP Oil UK Limited; followed by 7 years as MD of two motor dealerships, and 12 years as MD of a property development company, building new homes and commercial offices in the South West. He has retained a commercial interest in a gastro pub/ restaurant operation with hands on experience of this sector, gained from a venture that he purchased with his business partner in 2014, that after trebling the turnover successfully marketed and leased the business, as well as expanding and opening the new Berkshire office that same year for London Corporate Legal Solicitors.

Aside from the Law business Gary holds a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster licence with maritime experience as a commercial captain on a super-yacht in Monaco, and is familiar with all aspects of this charter industry as well. This is coupled with a Class 1 HGV/LGV articulated vehicle licence, airport security clearance, and experience in international haulage / logistics operations at Heathrow Airport.

Gary is a CMC qualified pre trial Mediator accredited in 2012 by the London School of Mediation, The Strand, London, with a pragmatic and business approach to dispute resolution. Combined with his commercial experience and business acumen, he can often quickly identify solutions to disputes, place resolution suggestions and present possible “deals” to exit a dispute, in even the most contentious cases.

Gary is willing to chair dispute resolution hearings nationwide, as well as internationally, with access to the LSM Mediation Suites at 218 Strand London, if required.
